Glo-Bus Simulation – Developing Winning Competitive Strategies
Business simulation used in Capstone Project in Supervision and Management
GLO-BUS is a completely online exercise where teams of students run a digital camera company in head-to-head competition against companies run by other class members. Company operations parallel those of actual digital camera companies. Just as in the real-world, companies compete in a global market arena, selling digital cameras in four geographic regions—Europe-Africa, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
Strategic Management and Decision Making
This course emphasizes strategic planning and strategy implementation in an organization. Students learn how to perform internal and external audits, identify problems, and formulate goals and objectives. Students will develop action plans and evaluate the effectiveness of the outcome of the plan. Case studies are used to promote decision-making abilities.
